Account Manager

Digital Account Manager  For a Food & Drinks Marketing Agency

Do you love getting nerdy about digital marketing? Do you take pride in building a real rapport with clients? Are you a huge foodie? You might just be exactly who we’re looking for.

We’re Gastronomic Agency, a food and drink marketing agency based in London. Our small, fully remote team works with companies all around the world, from multinationals to small startups. We use SEO, digital advertising and strategy to supercharge our clients’ online presence – and ultimately, their bottom line. Helping food and drinks businesses thrive is our bread and butter.

We’re a fast-growing team – and now, we’re seeking experienced digital account managers with an affinity for client relations. We’re a fully remote team, so we’re accepting candidates living their best lives anywhere in the world!

About the role:

As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible both for driving campaigns and keeping our clients in the know. You’ll be a nimble strategiser, a creative problem-solver and a proactive communicator. You’ll ensure that we’re delivering coordinated work that’s bang-on strategy, keeping in close communication with both the wider team and the brilliant businesses who hire us.

The digital marketing packages we offer, currently known at the BLT and PICNIC Plans, focus primarily on content marketing (SEO-optimised blogs), technical SEO, local SEO, keyword research, social retargeting campaigns and ad copywriting. A thorough understanding of most of these areas is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing digital marketing projects with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ensuring deliverables are produced on time, on budget, and to clients’ specifications
  • Planning creative briefs for blog content, from ideation to implementation
  • Monitoring and optimising paid social and paid search ad campaigns across multiple platforms, with a clear approach to testing
  • Building trust and rapport with our clients, taking the lead on social and search for weekly calls and monthly meetings
  • Producing monthly insights, reports and commentary for clients
  • Maintaining excellent written and verbal communication with all parties
  • Shaping agency processes, best practises and tech automation
  • Helping us grow and manage one of the best teams in the business!

About you:

We’re looking for a confident go-getter who jumps on new opportunities, and works quickly and flexibly to get the job done. We want someone who puts care into what they do, with meticulous attention to detail – but who isn’t afraid to experiment with new things either. Humility, integrity and collaboration are hugely important to us.

There’s never a time where we aren’t working with multiple clients, so the ability to handle a variety of projects at once is a must. The ideal candidate will also have both agency and client side experience.

Your skills and experience:

  • 1+ years in digital marketing or marketing communications, ideally with B2B and/or tech sector companies
  • Experience as a client-facing Paid Social/Paid Search Account Executive
  • In-depth knowledge of online marketing tools and technology, with hands-on experience of Google Ads/paid social platforms like Facebook and TikToK
  • Strong grasp of agency logistics and processes, and the ability to anticipate impacts and changes
  • A passion for marketing and the digital world, with an eye on new technologies and developments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and solutions-focused
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Hands-on SEO and copywriting experience is a bonus
  • Proficient with Google for Work products (Docs, Slides, Sheets etc). Experience with other relevant software, including Surfer SEO, Shopify, Jasper and Canva is a plus
  • Must have the right to work in the UK

What we offer:

This is a great time to join our company at a key stage of growth. After a really successful 2022, our small team is taking on more and more fantastic clients. You’ll have the opportunity to have a big impact on the direction of our agency going forward, and to reap the rewards of our ongoing success.

  • Fully remote working
  • Lots of flexibility in your working hours – we trust you to do the right thing for you and us
  • X days’ annual leave
  • A super-friendly team of fellow foodies!

Suggestions:

  • Competitive salary
  • Monthly in-person socials
  • £100 contribution to your home working set up to spend as you see fit
  • Yummy freebies from our fantastic clients
  • 5? extra life leave days – getting married, moving house, mental health days or just things that matter to you
